The time thing...

It seems there is never enough time.  I am always trying to find time ...where is it?  It doesn't matter if I put aside free time somehow it gets taken by a task that must done.  I am really going to research this part of my life as it is making me wonder what happened to all of my time.  I used to be able to spend days with nothing to do....now I can't get everything done on my list.

Maybe I am getting slower at doing things.  That is not a good thing for it means that I need to allot more time to each task.  If this were true then either I have to let  some tasks remain unfinished or just not start as many.  I wish that I could be a person that doesn't mind dirty windows and clutter.  They make me crazy.  Piles of papers and unfinished magazines need to be sorted...I could go on but you get the idea.

I am going to check into this problem of mine and let you know where I have changed my life so that when finished I will have beautiful time to do what I love........paint and write....

Website is working yay!!

Such a learning curve and much of the site is user friendly.  There are many steps that I would have liked to skip but in the end it is running.   I will continue to play with parts that bother me but I want it to showcase my recent works and link to my 2nd site.  Next my newsletter will be written form this site and should save me money.  This web stuff adds up over the year but I feel it will help me stay in touch and share my current work....Time will tell.

me!

Hello Fall....time for change again....  I am trying a new website and with it a chance to write about some of the moments in my life that seem worth sharing.  Since this is the first post I feel the need to introduce myself.  I am a Western New York watermedia artist who has been painting since I was bitten by the bug upon birth...well there might have been a few years before I started but when I was a child my favorite gift was a new box of crayons.  I still love the smell of crayons and wonder at the variety of colors that are produced today.

For the past 6 years I have enjoyed painting watercolor on canvas.  I especially enjoy the freedom to change and wipe out areas that aren't working and then adding layers of color and texture without getting "muddy".  No need for glass or acrylic to cover the finished painting, spray it with UVA protecting varnish.  Four or five thin coats of spray and it is ready for hanging.

My new website isn't up yet but my other 2 are still up for viewing.  It will be fun to create an updated site with better photos of my art and new articles.   Let the fun begin...
