  One of my favorite plants is the sunflower.  I love its strength and beauty with purpose.  It grows from a small seed to a strong large plant that is able to withstand most weather conditions.  The sunflower seed head starts as a beautiful cheery flower and when mature it provides food for birds and small animals.  Every year I am inspired to paint a new story to share.
